First Reconciliation

Children who are in their second year of Religious Education prepare for this Sacrament of Healing. Parents, as the first teachers of their children, are asked to attend a retreat so that together we may guide the children to our loving and forgiving Father.

For more information, contact the Religious Education Office at 305.665.0037.

First Eucharist

Children receive this Sacrament of Initiation at the conclusion of their second year of Religious Education. During classroom instruction and completed home assignments, children are educated on the Eucharistic Meal as both a Sacrifice and a Celebration and the special gift it is to us.  Reflection on the Sunday readings at home is encouraged so that the children might come to know our Savior, Jesus Christ. More information and details for this Sacrament will be communicated to the parents.

For more information, contact the Religious Education Office at 305.665.0037.

Confirmation

As a reminder of their baptismal commitment, candidates serve their Church, family and community. Candidates study, pray, and reflect during their preparation for this Initiation Sacrament. Attendance at weekly classes and the completion of requirements are an essential part of preparation for Confirmation.

If your child might be a candidate for the Sacrament of Confirmation, please call the Religious Education Office at 305.665.0037.

Marriage

"The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament."
(Canon 1055)

As a parish, Epiphany Church takes its responsibility in the preparation and celebration of the sacrament of matrimony very seriously. As a community, we rejoice that you have chosen your parish church for your wedding. We further hope you are taking this momentous step in your lives with joy and with a commitment to share your lives with each other forever. The Archdiocese of Miami, also vigilant about the seriousness of entering into a lifelong union, has issued special regulations regarding marriage between minors and up to nineteen (19) years of age. Epiphany supports and observes this regulation. In order to enable the couple to carry out the proper preparation, we require a twelve-month period prior to the wedding.

Who Can Marry at Epiphany?
• Anyone registered in the parish for two years or more.
• Anyone who is immediate family of a parishioner registered for two years or more.
• Anyone who lives within the official parish boundaries.
